  1. Primero pelaremos (quitaremos la tuza y los pelitos al elote)
  2. Luego ya limpios los pondremos a sancochar en una olla con sal y agua.. hasta que estén bien sancochados.
  3. Cuando ya están cocidos nuestros elotes los sacaremos para que escurran el agua un poco.
  4. Ahora vamos a meterle un palillo grande y grueso (son los palillos donde se introduce cada trozo de fruta para las brochetas de frutas).... eso ayuda para sostener el elote loco
  5. Cuando ya les hemos insertado los palillos a los elotes sancochados... vamos agarrarlos del palillo y untaremos todo el elote de mayonesa con la ayuda de un cuchillo sin filo o una cuchara especial para untar mayonesa.
  6. Seguido echaremos en forma de línea delgadas para arriba y para abajo en todo el elote como haciendo "zig zag" la mostaza, salsa negra espesa y la ketchup... y al final rociaremos sobre todo el elote el queso rallado girando el elote para que quede cubierto 😊 y listo para disfrutar de unos elotes locos 100% Salvadoreños... 😊😊😊😊
  7. Nota: para saber si los elotes ya están es cortandoles un trocito de la punta del elote y ver si el centro (corazón) se mira transparente, o deja que se cuezan los elotes 1 hora en el agua con sal.
  8. Nota: puse que elote amarillo no, es porque en El Salvador usamos solo elote blanco y el elote amarillo (lo conocemos como elote dulce) pues solo lo usamos para el caldo de hueso de Res jeje 😊 (ver en mi recetario).... no es porque no se pueda usar.. la verdad yo nunca he probado hacer un elote loco con elote amarillo.. pero si ustedes se animan no hay problema y así me cuentan como sabe... aunque el propio elote loco se hace con elote blanco (elote normal) como les repetía... espero entiendan.
